Pricing, Exchange & Buyback Policy

All precious metals including Gold, Platinum, and Silver are valued according to the prevailing market rates at the time of exchange or buyback.

The applicable rate will be determined based on the purity and market conditions.

Natural Gemstones Policy

For studded or Loose natural gemstones, the buyback value will be calculated at 70% of the gemstone value.

For the exchange or return of any Studded Natural Gemstone or Loose Natural Gemstone, the stones must be in their original, pristine condition as documented at the time of sale.

Diamond Exchange & Buyback

In the case of lab grown studded Diamonds, the exchange value will be considered 80% of the value, while the buyback value will be calculated at 70%.

Similarly, for natural studded diamond, the exchange value will be 80% and the buyback value will be 70%.

Identity Proof Requirement

Customers are required to present a valid government-issued identity proof at the time of billing.

Acceptable documents include PAN Card or Aadhaar Card, as per applicable regulations.

Invoice & Certificate Requirement

For any exchange or buyback request, the customer must present the original purchase invoice along with the original certificate, wherever applicable.

Rumani India reserves the right to decline any exchange or buyback request if these documents are not provided.

Eligibility Conditions

Any jewellery that has been altered, modified, resized, repaired, Plated or tampered with by any jeweller or service provider outside Rumani India will not be eligible for return, exchange, or buyback.

Similarly, jewellery that has been customised with personal engraving or specific personalised markings will not be eligible for return, exchange, or buyback under any circumstances.

Charges & Deductions

During the exchange or buyback process, making charges, GST, government taxes, and any other applicable charges or service fees will be deducted from the final valuation.

Any promotional discount or special offer applied at the time of purchase will also be deducted from the exchange or buyback value.

Exchange Conditions

Exchange transactions will only be processed when the value of the new purchase is higher than the value of the jewellery being exchanged.

Store Voucher Option

In cases where the customer chooses not to make an immediate purchase during the exchange process, the eligible exchange value will be converted into a store voucher which can be redeemed against future purchases with Rumani India.

Inspection & Verification

All products submitted for exchange or buyback will undergo a mandatory inspection and verification process which may take up to ten days.

The final valuation and approval will only be confirmed after the completion of this inspection period.

Customised Products

Customised jewellery pieces and accessories are considered final sale items and are not eligible for return or refund.

Payment Mode

Once the buyback value has been confirmed and approved, the payment will be transferred directly to the customer’s bank account through bank transfer.

Cash refunds will not be issued under any circumstances.

Invoice Value Limit

The buyback policy is applicable only for products with an invoice value of up to ₹5,00,000.

Our return, exchange, and buyback policies do not apply to international clients.

Excluded Stones

Furthermore, no exchange or buyback value will be provided for studded stones such as:

  • Polki
  • Kundan
  • Pearls
  • American Diamonds (AD)
  • Synthetic Stones
  • Semi-Precious Stones
  • Cubic Zirconia (CZ)
  • Imitation Stones
  • Colourstones

Loose natural solitaire diamonds as well as jewellery studded with natural solitaire diamonds are not eligible for exchange or buyback under this policy.

Right to Update Policy

Rumani India reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Customers are advised to review the terms periodically before making any purchase.
